Programme structure

The inter-departmental postgraduate programme (FEK 4357/Β/5-10-2020) hosted by the School of Medicine and School of Pharmacy of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki awards Master of Science (MSc) diplomas in "Precision Medicine - Translational research and therapeutics". The School of Medicine is responsible for the operational and administrative support of the MSc programme. The objective is to provide high-level postgraduate education in Precision Medicine, translational research and therapeutics as well as in related areas such as molecular biology, genomics, epigenomics, proteomics, metabolomics, biochemistry, pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, systems biology, bioinformatics, nanomedicine, biotechnology and biostatistics.

Eligible students

The master's degree is for graduates of Medicine, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Veterinary Medicine, Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetics, Chemistry and Biochemistry/Biotechnology or other university departments with related subjects.

According to the government article 35, Ν. 4485/2017, a MSc programme has to ensure the admission of students that fulfil academic criteria, regardless of their financial status.
